Estimate travel duration from distance, average speed and planned breaks. This is a distance-and-speed calculation rather than a route planner.
Travel minutes = distance / average speed × 60 + break minutes.
A 180 km trip at an average 90 km/h takes 120 minutes of driving. Adding a 15-minute break produces 2 hours 15 minutes.
Average speed is not the highest speed or the posted limit. The calculation has no map, traffic feed, road closures or border delays. Round-trip distance must include both directions. Use consistent distance and speed units.
