Convert an amount in euros using a rate quoted as target units per euro. For conversion back into euros, enter the reciprocal rate and the source amount.
Target amount = source amount × target units per source unit. For the reverse direction, use the reciprocal rate, 1/rate.
With an illustrative EUR/USD rate of 1.10, €200 becomes USD 220 before fees. USD 220 divided by 1.10 converts back to €200.
EUR/USD and USD/EUR describe opposite directions. Check the quote date and any spread or fee before a real exchange. This page does not download current ECB or bank rates.
