Convert mass between kilograms, grams, pounds, ounces and stone. Pounds and ounces use the avoirdupois definitions used for everyday body weight and goods.
Converted value = input × source factor in kilograms / target factor. One pound = 0.45359237 kg; one stone = 14 pounds.
10 lb = 4.5359237 kg. 12 stone = 168 lb ≈ 76.20352 kg. One pound contains 16 avoirdupois ounces.
Troy ounces used for precious metals are different and are not included. Fluid ounces measure volume, not mass. Converting liquid volume into mass requires density, so a fluid-ounce value cannot be entered as an ounce of mass.
